Blending club-forged bass music with the looseness and interplay of jazz after more than two decades at the forefront of underground electronic music.
Martyn came up through drum and bass and dubstep, announcing himself on seminal labels Hyperdub and Tectonic before branching out to Ninja Tune and Ostgut Ton, all while running his own 3024 imprint.
After eight years of playing dark jazz on his NTS show, Darkest Light, he now brings his album Music for Existing to the stage, with an ensemble of improvising musicians.
