Monthly “Ticket refund” prize draw: rules

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Organiser

The prize draw is organised by GreenRed, a French SASU with a share capital of 1 000 €, RCS Évry 948 352 257, registered office at 38 rue de la Paix, 91200 Athis-Mons, France, publisher of MyCritik (the “Organiser”).

2. How to enter

Every calendar month, MyCritik runs a free prize draw, with no purchase necessary from the platform, open to adults (or minors with the consent of a parent or guardian) living in France, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or Ireland who have a MyCritik account.

To be entered automatically into the current month’s draw, you must:

  1. have a valid MyCritik account and be signed in when you write your review;
  2. post a review of an event (gig, show…) that took place within the 30 days before the review was posted;
  3. write a review whose text is at least 100 characters long (spaces included, leading and trailing spaces excluded).

Each eligible review counts as one entry in the draw for the month in which it was posted. Members can post only one review per event. Reviews written with an AI assistant connected to MyCritik (MCP server), reviews posted without an account, and reviews by MyCritik staff and moderators are not entered. Using several accounts is forbidden and leads to exclusion.

3. Fair and neutral reviews

In line with the rules on online review transparency (Articles L. 111-7-2 and D. 111-17 of the French Consumer Code, EU “Omnibus” Directive):

  • all ratings are accepted: entry does not depend on the rating (1 to 5 stars) or on whether the review is positive or negative;
  • transparency: review pages state that some reviews are entered into a monthly prize draw; authors see the label “Entered in the monthly draw” on each of their eligible reviews;
  • reviews that breach the review policy (insults, spam, defamatory statements, fake or misleading reviews) are removed and excluded from the draw. Only reviews that are published at the time of the draw can win.

4. Draw and prize

  • A random draw takes place at the start of each month (from day 1 of the month) among all eligible reviews posted during the previous calendar month (Paris time). It is carried out by a computer random number generator; the list of entries is kept on record.
  • Prize: the winner is refunded the face value of their ticket for the event covered by the winning review (one ticket only), on presentation of a valid proof of purchase or named ticket, up to £60 (or €70 or CHF 70 depending on the ticket currency), taxes included.
  • Free events or complimentary tickets: if the winning review is about a free event or a complimentary ticket (face value of 0), no refund can be claimed and no alternative compensation will be given.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred.

5. Claiming the prize

The winner is contacted by email, at the address linked to their MyCritik account, within 7 days of the draw. From that email, they have 30 days to send their proof of purchase, country of residence and payment details. After that, or if the proof does not match the event of the review, the prize is forfeited and a new draw is held for that month among the other eligible reviews.

6. Personal data

The data needed for the draw (account, review, country derived from the IP address when the review is posted, the winner’s proof of purchase and payment details) is processed by the Organiser to run these rules, then kept for as long as needed for payment and accounting obligations. 7. Changes, suspension and governing law

The Organiser may change, suspend or end the prize draw at any time, in particular in the event of fraud; reviews already entered for the current month then take part in the last draw. These rules are governed by French law. Any complaint should be sent to sylvain@greenred.fr.
