Every review, photo, notice, message and profile can be reported using the “Report” button. Reports are examined by the moderation team; see the publication and moderation policy.

Intellectual property

The structure of the website, its visual identity and its editorial content are the property of the publisher. Reviews and photos remain the property of their authors, who grant MyCritik a licence to use them as described in the terms of use.

Photos

Photos of artists and venues

The photos illustrating artist and venue pages come from free sources, mainly Wikimedia Commons, or from ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster). They remain under the licence chosen by their author (for example Creative Commons BY or BY-SA). The author, the licence and a link to each original file are given on the Photo credits page.

Photos posted by members

Photos posted by members remain the property and the responsibility of their author. By posting a photo, the member warrants that they took it themselves or hold the rights to it, and that it respects copyright and the image rights of any identifiable person.

Any photo can be reported using the “Report” button. In accordance with the Digital Services Act (DSA), a photo that is manifestly unlawful or disputed by a rights holder is examined promptly and removed where necessary.

Removal requests

Are you the author of a photo, the person photographed or the rights holder, and would you like it removed or its credit corrected? Write to the point of contact above, stating the address of the page concerned: the photo will be removed upon a substantiated request.

Data sources

  • Events: Ticketmaster Discovery API, in accordance with its terms of use.
  • Venue and city events: OpenAgenda, data published by each listing under the Licence Ouverte (Etalab 2.0, French open licence); each event page links back to its original page.
  • Venues: © OpenStreetMap contributors, data under the ODbL licence.
  • Artists: MusicBrainz and Wikidata (CC0). Listening links and popularity: Deezer API (Deezer artwork is not used).
  • Avatars: DiceBear (style licences listed on dicebear.com).
