Frequently asked questions
What are the main concert venues in Belfast?
The SSE Arena in the Titanic Quarter hosts the largest tours. The Ulster Hall, Belfast Waterfront and the Limelight take mid-sized concerts, and Ormeau Park hosts the Belsonic open-air shows in summer.
How do I get to the SSE Arena Belfast?
The simplest option is the G2 Glider from the city centre, near City Hall, to the Odyssey stop right outside the arena. Titanic Quarter station is about a 15-minute walk away; check Translink for services after the show.
Is the Ulster Hall the same venue as Belfast Waterfront?
No. The Ulster Hall is on Bedford Street in the city centre, while Belfast Waterfront is at Lanyon Place, beside the River Lagan. Both are run by the same organisation, so check the venue on your ticket before you set off.
What is Belsonic?
Belsonic is a series of open-air concerts held each summer in Ormeau Park, south of the city centre. Dates and line-ups change every year, so check the festival’s official website.
