Utilita Arena, Principality Stadium, Tramshed: upcoming gigs in Cardiff and what the audience made of them.
Cardiff is one of the easiest cities in the UK to see a big gig: both of its largest venues are in the city centre, within walking distance of the stations. The Utilita Arena Cardiff, on Mary Ann Street, hosts most arena tours and is a few minutes on foot from Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street. The Principality Stadium, beside the River Taff, stages the biggest stadium concerts, usually in summer.
For smaller and mid-sized gigs:
A new indoor arena is being built at Atlantic Wharf in Cardiff Bay, but for now the Utilita Arena remains the city’s main indoor venue.
This page lists upcoming concerts in Cardiff with the artist’s average rating and reviews from earlier dates of the tour. Venue criteria are rated separately, so you can see how the arena compares with a smaller room. For theatre and comedy as well, see what’s on in Cardiff.

The Utilita Arena Cardiff and the Principality Stadium host the largest concerts. Tramshed, Clwb Ifor Bach and the Wales Millennium Centre cover mid-sized and smaller gigs.
The arena is on Mary Ann Street in the city centre, a short walk from Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street stations. There is no on-site parking for audiences, but there are multi-storey car parks nearby, and bus stops on Churchill Way.
Yes. The stadium opened as the Millennium Stadium and has been called the Principality Stadium since 2016 under a naming-rights deal. It is next to the city centre, a short walk from Cardiff Central station.
