What are the biggest concert venues in Glasgow?
The OVO Hydro is the largest indoor arena, alongside the SEC Armadillo on the same campus. The Barrowland Ballroom, the O2 Academy Glasgow and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall host mid-sized concerts, and Glasgow Green hosts big open-air shows.
How do I get to the OVO Hydro?
The easiest way is by train to Exhibition Centre station, a short ride from Glasgow Central (Low Level), right next to the Scottish Event Campus. Buses and a walk along the Clyde are other options. All the details are in our guide to getting to the OVO Hydro.
What is Celtic Connections?
It is a winter music festival held in Glasgow every January, with folk, traditional and roots music from Scotland and around the world, in venues across the city including the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
