About

After a sell-out Edinburgh debut, Kate-Lois Elliott (British Writers’ Guild Award nominee, The Times Best Jokes of the Fringe, British Comedy Guide finalist) is back with a new work-in-progress show.

Having hit her thirties, a newly married Kate found herself spiralling, right on time, into an existential identity crisis - wondering what ‘it all’ is and if anyone, at any point, has ever actually had it. This is a show about falling down rabbit holes of Tradwives, baby dilemmas, and apocalypse. It’s about 'how many fish?', Elliott’s deranged obsession with making the tabloids, and whatever happened to Leonardo DiCaprio’s head. It’s a look at the things we obsess over, the things we’re told to want, and why everyone’s so desperate to go back to the olden days - even though they weren’t even that good, actually.

"Funny, clever and sharply observed. With more substance than many comedy shows, Kate is one to watch" - Voice Magazine ★★★★

"Thought provoking & funny... clever, witty & unique" - Heart London ★★★★

"A genius approach to breaking down what self-reflection truly means. A brilliant talent for normalising the absurd" - Entertainment Focus ★★★★

“Clever, witty & captivating. Certainly one to watch’’ - We Love Brighton ★★★★

Music by Katie Pritchard & Kate-Lois Elliott
