What’s on in Cork

From touring musicals to stand-up and summer gigs, this page gathers the upcoming shows in Cork in date order, each with the average rating left by the audience on earlier performances.

A few venues come up again and again in the listings:

• Cork Opera House, on Emmet Place, for theatre, opera, dance, comedy, family shows and the Christmas pantomime;
• the Everyman, on MacCurtain Street, a theatre with a focus on drama that produces its own shows and also stages a pantomime;
• Triskel Christchurch, on Tobin Street, an arts centre in a former church, with concerts, films and exhibitions;
• Cyprus Avenue, on Caroline Street, which mixes gigs, comedy and club nights.

Cork Opera House also has a smaller 100-seat space behind the main building, the Half Moon Theatre. Venue reviews cover comfort, view and access separately from the show itself, which is useful if you are trying a theatre for the first time.
