From The O2 and Wembley to Brixton and Camden: upcoming London gigs and what the crowd thought of them.
London’s biggest indoor shows take place at The O2, on the Greenwich Peninsula beside North Greenwich station (Jubilee line), and at OVO Arena Wembley, next to Wembley Stadium and a short walk from Wembley Park station (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines). For a seated night with a sense of occasion, the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington hosts the BBC Proms every summer as well as rock, pop and film concerts. The Eventim Apollo, opposite Hammersmith station, is a classic stop for mid-sized tours.
Below arena level, the capital has a long list of well-known rooms: O2 Academy Brixton, the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm, KOKO in Camden, and dozens of small venues where bands play their first London dates.
Our guides explain how to get to The O2, how to get to OVO Arena Wembley and which seats to choose at the Royal Albert Hall.
Audience reviews compare what matters on the night: the sound, the setlist, the view and the queue for the Tube afterwards. Back from a gig? Rate the concert and the venue while it is still fresh.

Frequently asked questions
What are the biggest concert venues in London?
Wembley Stadium hosts the largest stadium tours. Indoors, The O2 and OVO Arena Wembley are the two big arenas, followed by mid-sized venues such as the Eventim Apollo, O2 Academy Brixton and the Roundhouse.
How do I get to The O2?
Take the Jubilee line to North Greenwich: the arena is right next to the station. You can also arrive by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers at North Greenwich Pier, or on the IFS Cloud Cable Car from the Royal Docks. Details in our guide to getting to The O2.
Is OVO Arena Wembley the same as Wembley Stadium?
No. They are two separate venues a few minutes apart in Wembley Park, so check which one is on your ticket. Both are within walking distance of Wembley Park station.
Which Tube station is nearest to the Royal Albert Hall?
South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines) and High Street Kensington (District and Circle lines) are the closest, each about a 10-minute walk away.
