Parking at Utilita Arena Cardiff: St David's, NCP and Blue Badge
By The MyCritik editorial team · information checked on 12 October 2026
Utilita Arena Cardiff has no car park for its audiences. But because it sits right in the city centre, next to the St David's shopping centre, there are several large multi-storey car parks within a few minutes' walk. The challenge on a big night is getting into and out of the city centre, not finding a space.
The nearest car parks
The arena lists six car parks nearby, with their approximate capacity and number of disabled bays:
| Car park | Spaces | Disabled bays |
|---|---|---|
| St David's | about 2,570 | 120 |
| John Lewis | about 550 | 21 |
| Adam Street NCP | about 430 | 20 |
| Westgate Street NCP | about 330 | 4 |
| Pellet Street NCP | about 300 | 8 |
| Rapports NCP | about 130 | 3 |
- St David's, the shopping centre's multi-storey, is by far the largest and among the closest. According to Ticketmaster's venue page, it is open 24 hours, as is Rapports NCP.
- John Lewis, attached to the shopping centre, is a smaller alternative close by.
- The NCP car parks on Adam Street, Pellet Street and Westgate Street are other city-centre options if the closest car parks are full.
Opening hours and conditions can change: check them with each operator before you go, and remember that the car parks are not run by the arena.
How to get there
From the east, leave the M4 at junction 29; from the west, leave at junction 33 and take the A4232 towards Cardiff. The arena's postcode is CF10 2EQ, but if you have booked or chosen a car park, put that car park's address into your sat nav instead. Expect event traffic on the final approach.
Leaving after the show
Shows end at 11pm at the latest, according to the arena, and thousands of people leave at the same time. A few tips:
- remember the level and bay where you parked;
- if you are in no hurry, let the first wave of cars leave before heading back to your car;
- if you have a train to catch or are on a tight schedule, consider coming by train: Cardiff Central and Queen Street are a few minutes' walk away. See our guide to getting to Utilita Arena Cardiff.
Drop-off and taxis
The arena lists taxi ranks on Tredegar Street and Churchill Way for drop-off and pick-up. Agree a precise meeting point with your driver to avoid stopping in front of the doors.
Blue Badge parking
There is no Blue Badge parking at the arena itself. The car parks above offer disabled bays, with St David's (120 bays) and John Lewis (21) the best provided. Blue Badge holders can also use eligible on-street pay-and-display spaces, Cardiff Council car parks and designated Blue Badge bays, subject to the restrictions shown on signs at each location. At the arena, the front entrance has an access ramp and a dedicated step-free queue for Live Access visitors.
