What’s on in Limerick
Gigs, theatre, comedy and musicals in Limerick, with ratings from the people who were in the audience.
From stand-up to theatre and summer gigs at the castle, this page gathers the upcoming shows in Limerick in date order, each with the average rating left by the audience on earlier performances.
A few venues come up again and again in the listings:
- the Lime Tree Theatre, on the Mary Immaculate College campus, for theatre, musicals, comedy, dance, opera and the Christmas pantomime;
- Belltable, the Lime Tree’s sister venue, which also screens films and houses the shared box office;
- University Concert Hall, on the University of Limerick campus, for orchestral music, comedy, talks and family shows;
- Dolan’s, on Dock Road, which mixes gigs and comedy across its three rooms.
In summer, King John’s Castle and Thomond Park host the biggest outdoor concerts. Venue reviews cover comfort, view and access separately from the show itself, which is useful if you are trying a theatre for the first time.
