Parking at OVO Arena Wembley for a concert

OVO Arena Wembley has no car park of its own, but the Wembley Park estate around it has several large, official car parks a few minutes' walk from the doors. Parking is therefore possible, as long as you book ahead, avoid unofficial car parks and keep an eye on the stadium calendar next door.

The official Wembley Park car parks

The arena describes Wembley Park's car parks as its official event car parks: CCTV monitored, marshalled on event days and a few minutes from the main entrance. Wembley Park says four car parks open on event days:

• Red Parking: a multi-storey car park opposite the main entrance of the London Designer Outlet; Wembley Park describes it as the closest to the arena, about 3 to 5 minutes' walk;
• Green Parking: a surface car park, open on event days, a very short walk from the arena;
• Pink Parking: the largest, a five-storey car and coach park next to the stadium, about 8 to 10 minutes' walk;
• Blue Parking: open on event days, close to the venues.

A fifth car park, Gold Parking, next to the London Designer Outlet and accessed from Lakeside Way, is listed by Wembley Park but is not among the four it names for event days.

Book in advance

Both the arena and Wembley Park recommend pre-booking on Wembley Official Parking (wembleyofficialparking.com). Pre-booked vehicles are registered in advance and recognised on arrival: the car parks use number plate recognition for entry and exit. Event-day prices are shown at the time of booking; we do not list them here.

The arena advises against unofficial car parks, which it describes as further away and possibly not secure.

How to get there

The arena is just off the A406 North Circular Road, and Wembley Park says its car parks connect to the M1, M40 and North Circular. For route planners, the arena gives the postcode HA9 0AA; Wembley Park gives HA9 0FA as a general sat nav postcode for the estate, and HA9 0HX for Pink Parking. Use the postcode of the car park you have booked.

Stadium event days

This is the main thing to check. When there is a match or concert at Wembley Stadium on the same day, the car parks and surrounding roads are much busier. The streets around Wembley Park are largely residential, and on-street parking restrictions apply around the stadium: read the local signs carefully. Do not count on finding a space on the street, and book an official car park well in advance.

Leaving after the concert

All the car parks empty at once when the arena or the stadium finishes. Tips:

• note the colour of your car park and the exit you need;
• if you are not in a hurry, wait a while: the shops, restaurants and bars around the London Designer Outlet and Boxpark are nearby;
• if you have a fixed deadline, the Tube from Wembley Park may well be quicker.

Electric vehicles

According to Wembley Park, Red, Pink and Blue Parking have EV charging points.

Blue Badge parking and drop-off

According to the arena, Blue Badge holders can park on site in the official Wembley Park car parks, and pre-booking on Wembley Official Parking is recommended. The drop-off and pick-up point is on Lakeside Way, by the South West entrance and the OVO VIP entrance. Stops are limited to 15 minutes, and the road may be closed when the area is very busy, in which case you may need to stop at the top of Lakeside Way, about 120 metres from the South West entrance.
